Proposed Rezoning Lands of the Town of Berwick, Orchard Street

The Town of Berwick has acquired lands generally bounded by Orchard Street and Spartan Avenue, formerly lands of West Point Homes Limited (PIDs 55243836, 55380844, 08131120).  These lands are proposed to be rezoned to enable their use and development for public recreation purposes.

The Town’s Planning Advisory Committee will be holding an information and consultation meeting to discuss the proposed rezoning.

The meeting will provide information about the development of the property as a green space recreational area which would include such entities as a bike skills park, walking trail and more.  Town staff will discuss details about the proposed development including the type of facilities that are planned and the phasing of the development.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, 236 Commercial Street on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 6:30pm.
