PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH
PLAYTIME for Parents and Tots - “Moms, Pops & Tots”
Start your morning with “Story Time” at the Berwick Library then head to the Gym to play and connect with other parents.
Time: Wednesdays 9:45am to 12:00pm
Ages: 0-5
Location: Berwick Library and Town Hall Gym
Cost: $3 Drop In Fee
TUMBLEBUGS
Is a very popular 8 week program for children between ages 3-5 and a parent or caregiver. Tumblebugs teaches basic movement activities and modified gymnastics that are fun, safe and developmentally appropriate. Tumble on over and check us out!!
Time: 9:30am-10:30am Saturdays running from January 13 to March 3, 2018

There is no cost for participants but pre-registration is required with Carol Boylan-Hartling at 902-538-8068 ext. 2.
AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
This popular program is an exciting way to spend time after school being physically active, making new friends, and having fun. Pre-registration is required.
Time: Monday-Friday 3:00pm to 5:30pm
Ages: 5-12
Location: Berwick Town Hall (Students meet at school after the bell)
Cost: $8 per day

LEARN TO SNOWSHOE
Open to girls between Grades 5 to 8.
Time: Wednesdays directly after school, beginning January 10th to February 28th (weather dependent).

Girl Guides of Canada are seeking Women and Girls to join our active group. SNOWSHOES NOW AVAILABLE!
Would you like to get out into the snow and have some fun? The Berwick Recreation Department now has a limited number of snowshoes available for people to borrow on weekends at no cost. They can be picked up on Friday between 12:00pm and 4:30pm and returned on the following Monday between 8:30am to 12:00pm at The Recreation Department in the Town Hall. ADULT PROGRAMS
WILSON'S WALKERS
Wilson’s Walkers walk every Tuesday morning from 9:00am – 10:00am. The group meet's at the Post Office inside the store and weather permitting they walk outside around the town or on the trail system. If weather is not cooperating or if there is too much ice and snow on the sidewalks we walk around the track at the KMCC.
There is no cost and is a great chance to socialize and at the same time get some exercise.

FLEX AND FLOW FITNESS CLASSES
Love your Bones - based on the new exercise recommendations by Osteoporosis Canada. The class focuses on multicomponent exercises including balance and strength training in addition to aerobic training for the best health benefits. If school is cancelled, Berwick Recreation Programs and events are cancelled. Local radio stations will be advised of any cancellations. If you are unsure please call ahead. The safety of participants of our programs is of utmost importance to us and we encourage participants to stay home and stay safe if the weather is bad.
