The Town of Berwick is pleased to share that we now have an automated external defibrillator (AED) and SaveStation cabinet located outside the Berwick Town Hall at 236 Commercial Street.
Pictured are Town of Berwick Mayor Don Clarke, and community members Brian Hirtle and Earl Fuller placing the AED in the cabinet.
While we wanted to share this information with the community as soon as the AED was in place, we will be holding an official launch in the New Year with Stephen and Debbie Boyd of the Jordan Boyd Foundation and EHS Operations, who were instrumental in this project.
This project is a community effort and we look forward to sharing the story with you. For more on the potential life-saving benefits of an AED, visit the EHS AED Registry’s website at www.savelivesns.ca.
