2026 Special Municipal Election
NOTICE OF POLL
MUNICIPAL SPECIAL ELECTION
The Town of Berwick’s Special Election will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Electors may begin voting by internet or telephone at noon on Thursday, June 11th until
7:00 pm on Saturday, June 20th. Voter instruction letters will be mailed to electors
on the electoral list before the commencement of the voting period.
In-person voting will be at Town Hall, 236 Commercial Street, Berwick, during regular
office hours beginning at noon on June 11th and from 8 am – 7 pm on Saturday, June 20th

IMPORTANT DATES:
June 11, 2026 - Voting begins at noon for the Special Election
June 20, 2026 - Ordinary polling day. A polling station will be set up at the Town Hall, from 8am-7pm.
Unofficial results will be available soon after the polls close at 7:00 pm.
2026/27 Budget
The Budget Process:
Planning for the 2026–27 budget cycle commenced in December 2025, with staff beginning to analyze early projections and identify key operational needs. On January 29th, Council and staff began a series of budget workshops focused on reviewing the proposed operating and capital budgets, clarifying details, and providing strategic direction to advance the budgets toward final approval.
